Nukkad Natak (Street play) is an activity which has been used in India for a long time to convey view or opinion on social issues or to deliver any information to the people. The impact is not created silently it has to be loud enough so that it can be heard and felt.
So this time Graphic Era University presents Nukkad Natak, as an event to present your ideas and to leave an impact.
Rules and Regulations
- This is a group event. Each team shall consist of maximum of 15 members.
- The language of the performance should be HINDI or ENGLISH only.
- The time limit shall be maximum 20 minutes. Exceeding time limit will lead to strict marks deduction.
- Teams are expected to perform at an open air venue, preferably in a circular arena with audience on all sides. Audience response will have substantial points in scoring criteria.
- Use of fire/water/smoke machines on stage/in close proximity of stage is not permitted.

ROUND 1 :-
ANATAX ROUND
Test your knowledge in a cinch round of aptitude + electrical & electronics questions.
- 50 (25+25) questions will be asked on the basic knowledge of Electrical and Electronics including reasoning questions.
- There are total 50 questions carrying 100 marks(each question is of 2 marks).
- Questions not attempted will result in zero mark and wrong answer will result in negative marking.
- One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
ROUND 2 :-
DIGITAX ROUND
Drain your brains to build circuits as quick as you can. Let’s check how fast your fingers work on bread board.
- In this round the candidates shortlisted from ROUND 1 would be provided with a circuit to , which must be designed within a particular span of time.
WINNING CRITERIA
One who comes first in designing circuit will be the "Star Of Anatax & Digitax".
- The team which takes minimum time to implement the circuit on the bread board will be declared as the winner of the event.

RULES
- Round 1 is the Beating the best round based on the multiple choice question on Basic C language & aptitude. Time duration is of 30 minutes. 30 Questions will be there in the question paper.
- Round 2 is a coding round which will be a round to judge your C/Java coding skills.
- Each Team can have a minimum of 2 Participants & a maximum of 4 participants.
- All The team members must have to carry their college ID cards as well as GRAFEST’14 Registration ID cards.
- Judge’s Decision will be final & Binding to all.
- The coordinators reserve the right to change the rules as they deem it. You will be informed accordingly.
DAY 1:
QUIZ COMPETITION
There is a quiz competition based on aptitude, reasoning, 12th standard math’s, basic vocabulary.
DAY 2:
TREASURE HUNT (TECHNICAL)
There is a treasure hunt based on the technical clues and photography of the related machines and equipment.
DAY 3:
MODEL MAKING
There is a model making by students in team, required materials are given to the team. And the teams have to imagine or make strategy to make the model from provided materials.

- Each participant should carry id cards of their respective colleges.

- 60 Minutes for aptitude test.
- Two marks for each correct Answer.

- Team cannot take the help from their friends.
- No use of any electronics devices, or internet.
- 10 teams will be formed from the selected members.
- First and second position teams will proceed to round 3.

MODEL MAKING
- Things will be provided for model making.
- No need to bring material from outside.
- Now four teams having two members in each team take part in model making.
- First, second, third position will be awarded.

CHKRAVYUH (Robo Race/LFR)
There is a strategy guys, we the saviours will silently attack their bunkers and plant explosives. So guys, the plan is to find a silent and quite way and send our bots to plant explosives.
These bots will follow the way and plant explosives, the way is such that there is a chakravyuh to confuse the enemies not to find out the way.
GAME RULES AND BOT REGULATION
- All the participating teams will race on the tracks provided one by one on both race track manually & automatically by mechanical & LFR bots.
- There will be two different tracks for robo race and LFR with different bots to participate in the event separately.
- The bot specification for roborace is #30cm*25cm*15 #weight max 5 kg
- Current used by battery may be the 9V battery or 12V, 1A at max.
PRAYATNA (Robo-War)
The world is approaching towards Mass destruction. Their aliens have invaded our planet, to come, occupy and retain our planet as theirs. The people are determined to save the Earth from these ruthless species by all means available. This time, they have come up with devastating weaponaries upon Robots.
The war between aliens and Robots is about to happen. So gear up guys, We need your help. You need to save our planet.
GAME RULES AND BOT REGULATION
- All the participating teams will be divided into 2 sections.Section-1 is the team Aliens whereas the section 2 teams are Saviors/Avengers.
- Each team of Aliens will fight with their opponent team of Avengers which will be decided randomly by chit method.
- The size of the bot for the event will be 15'*15'*15'(inches).Maximum, consuming at max.12V,5-6A of current.
- Each team will fight with all the other teams of the opponent section and the event will progress so on.
Ideas are with everyone, but very few get the opportunity to present them to the world. Who knows what a young mind may have hidden deep inside it. The Objective of the event is to create a congenial atmosphere among the Students, Educationist, Research scholars and Engineers on a common platform, where they can share their views, ideas and experiences for the betterment of the education system and to earn a practical knowledge to withstand in today’s competitive world. This competition will also link the trend towards integration of technology with the education. This will benefit students to have an experience of presenting their ideas to the world. The experience gained while working on their projects and research work is valuable and when they share it along they groom others to be better technocrats. Here we aimed to weave together imagination and engineering to generate novel ideas and designs for advancement in science and technology.
In this event students will present a poster based on their project or ongoing research work (Published or unpublished). Poster must be of the size prescribed below. A demo poster will be e-mailed to the participants. The best poster explained will be awarded.
Rules and Regulations
- Dimension should be within 4 feet (width) x 3 feet (height). Note that this is the maximum allowed dimension.
- Poster can be digitally printed (preferred) or neatly printed on drawing paper.
- Poster’s content should be clearly visible.
- Only fixtures and holdings for the poster will be provided by the organizers.
- Maximum 2 authors can participate in the event.
- Participants are requested to mention their Course, Branch, Abstract title in the subject of the E- Mail and the names of authors in E-mail with their details
Eg:- B.tech/EC/Title-Utilization of radar data to identify land cover features.
In this event those student who have published their research paper in different conference or journal will present their paper. And the best paper presented by the student will be awarded.

- Paper should be from renowned conferences and journals Eg. IEEE, Elsvier etc.
- Maximum 2 authors can participate in the event.
- 10 Min to each participant will be given to give the presentation and 5 -10 min for Q & A session.
- Participants are requested to mail the PDF of their paper along with mail and kindly mention their Course, Branch, and Title in the subject of the E- Mail and the names of authors in E-mail with their details Eg.:- B.tech/EC/Title-Utilization of radar data to identify land cover features.
In this event Students will exhibit their working projects and the best project will be awarded.
Rules and Regulations
- Students have to bring their project (Software or hardware based) along with them in working state.
- Participants have to demonstrate the working or functioning of their project, failure to which participant will be disqualified.
- Participants have to mention their requirement before the event Eg. DC supply,Internet.
- Team should comprise of two members and at least one member should be around to explain the project during the entire exhibition. Failing this would lead to automatic disqualification.

We can bring forward the most creative and alluring theme to the show. This time the theme will be NIGHT. Yes, those beautiful crystal like stars, that little moon protruding up in that beautiful black sky will all be there plus your piece of art will add an extra ounce of beauty to all those stuff.
That empty and quite nature of NIGHT will be highlighted.
PARTICIPANTS:
Any student willing to showcase his/her piece of art is welcome. The participants can submit their entries on below mentioned link/mail or contact the event head/coordinator.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- The entries must be original with its proper description, which includes the details of the cam( model, iso settings, shutter, aperture) with a watermark of the person present. Any entry found without the above mentioned description will be disqualified. Same will go for painting/sketching and numismatics.
- Winners will be selected on basis on judging done by our panel of judges/experts and their decision will be final.
- Winners will be awarded a cash prize of INR for 1st, INR for 2nd and INR for 3rd.
- The age limit for participation is 22 years.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- The event managers will provide the clothes but the participants must carry their own clothes, in case any problem occurs from the sponsors’ side.
- No alterations should be made in the costumes provided. Participants will be held responsible and penalized.
- Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the one from the contest.
